Simon Bisley artwork, my colours. I handed this over to Jamie Grant and he polished it up for print.

Beautiful work, I look forward to reading the run you've coloured for the series. I particularly like the shading and colour of the carpet.

Do you ink or use another medium for colouring?

The black and white art was done by Simon Bisley and he used a combination of pencil shading and ink to get the shading effects. To colour it I just used Photoshop and put in (mostly) flat colours underneath Bisleys greyscale art. It's quite simple but we did need to be careful to avoid stray messy bits under the solid black areas since they do show up in print even though they're invisible in Photoshop. The printed version of this page has a few touches here and there from Jamie Grant so it is slightly different from what I've posted here.

And thanks for the fave and the kind words. There should be more Bisley Hellblazer issues in the next few months. He's working on one now and hopefully me and Jamie will be back doing the colours for him. To my mind this is the best work I've seen from Simon.

Jamie is awesome (Testament, All Star Superman and Wasted come to mind)

Whatever happened with "Wasted"? Alan Grant sent me the first issue, but I can't find new stuff anywhere

Thanks very much. Don't forget to have a look at the printed version. The next issue looks even better...
